Alpine Physical Therapy is a tightly knit team. Certainly the phrase “there is no ‘I’ in team” rings true for all the star players at Alpine.
For example, we pulled together for two annual events including the fourth annual Missoula Marathon as well as our second annual Alpine river float trip on July 11th and 12th, respectively. Both events went off without a hitch and brought our team even closer together.
Being an integral part of the annual Missoula Marathon gives us inspiration as well as gratitude for our community. As the exclusive PT sponsors of this enormous event, we again provided pre-event lectures for Run Wild Missoula, injury consultations, Runner’s Clinic evaluations, the warm-up for the half-marathon, and a gazillion massages to participants immediately after the race.
This year was bigger than ever, thanks to Runner’s World, whose readership voted Missoula the top marathon destination of 2010.
The day after the Marathon, our team floated on its second annual float trip down the Blackfoot River. This came as a big “Thank You” from Brent Dodge, our fearless leader, for all of our extra efforts on behalf of Alpine.
Our trip was packed with everything amazing, fun, eventful, and hilarious! From Brent bobbing down the river in a life vest after falling off the boat (his efforts did produce a hefty Rainbow trout, however) to an all-out water war instigated by Gary. We’ve never laughed so hard, and all 27 of us on 5 different rafts had a great time.
In July, it’s all about Missoula at Alpine Physical Therapy.
