Welcome to Health and Fitness 101: W3 (Who, What, Why)

Welcome to Health and Fitness 101, a blog for people who enjoy the Montana lifestyle. Funny. We’ve never met anyone who knows anything about Montana and yet doesn’t enjoy our lifestyle. If they say they don’t they’re either lying or boring, or both. So from the get-go, we know we are singing–no, we’re shouting–to the choir. But we, the physical therapists of Alpine Physical Therapy, believe we have something worth shouting about, or at least blogging about! Read on to find out why.

When you mention health and fitness in our presence, our blood starts pumping with the vim and vigor you’d feel after a heated sprint up Mount Jumbo. (But that’s another story.) You see, as physical therapists who are keen on today’s approaches to top-notch medicine, we’ve begun to ride an entirely new wave, one that blends human potential within the current wellness craze.

The aim of our blog is to interpret, distill, and then deliver to you the threads that bind physical medicine with applicable health and fitness ideas and principles. A prime example of this connectivity is the fact that we practice physical therapy in a genuine (and very large) health and fitness center. We see the link firsthand. Our blog, then, is all about helping to connect the dots that foster optimal human function and, ultimately, superior performance. Feel better. Perform better.
